As Financial Officer for The Letter M, Debbie ensures our clients are invoiced accurately, and our partners get paid on time. She also keeps an eye on the big picture, and provides valuable advice on all things financial.
While most people get flustered when numbers go wrong, Debbie stays calm and works through a problem methodically. A master organizer, she lends her tranquil demeanor, as well as her book-keeping and accounting expertise, to the TLM office a few days each week. We welcome her fresh insights and new ideas that support more efficient and streamlined processes.
Debbie is also excellent at explaining complex accounting processes, especially to those with limited experience in that area. Her enviable organizational skills also ensure that she is immediately able to produce any documentation upon request.
Debbie’s strong, long-term relationships with partners are a valuable resource that ensure our financial knowledge and skills remain an asset to our clients.
When she’s not working, you’ll usually find Debbie at the cottage reading a good murder mystery novel or gardening.
Fun fact: As a teen, Debbie had a savings jar and kept a ledger to record what went in and out.
