Grey County Climate Action Plan
Corporate Communications and Marketing Strategy (2016 & 2022)
The Letter M led a far-reaching exercise to research and develop a strategic communications plan for Grey County in 2016. With long-time public confusion about service delivery and the roles of various governments, and an underserved communications function, significant work was required to align the communities around the work of the County with clarity and confidence.
Drawing on our experience in strategic municipal communications, project work included a full audit and best practices review, engagement with the public and regional stakeholders including politicians, staff and community leaders, workshops, and a peer review.
In early 2022, we were invited to revisit Grey County, and our initial Plan for a comprehensive review, revisiting and refinement. Our new methodology took into consideration the changed community demographics, the growth of technology, municipal staffing and budget updates and the realities of a COVID era.
In addition to the above work, we’ve also partnered with Grey on the drafting and design of their 2022-2050 Climate Change Action Plan, the creation of four climate change videos and a staff recognition brand.
Testimonial:
“Thanks again for all of your work on the strategy. Know that I’ll always be happy to be a reference if you need one.”
