Rebrand for Richmond Hill Public Library
A “city living room” for gathering and exploring creative opportunities with like-minded people: today’s libraries have evolved to become technologically sophisticated, forward-thinking organizations.
Richmond Hill Public Library (RHPL) realized the importance of modernizing its brand to reflect these aspects. In partnership with their team, we provided a comprehensive overview of a new identity, personality, voice and key messages. Our recommendations were informed by collaborations with staff, the Board, and two public surveys that tested initial insights and evaluated design concepts.
Upon successful adoption of the finalized brand, our team then supported RHPL with implementation and rollout:
- Brand guidelines
- Printed collaterals (Library card, bookmark, etc.)
- Brand templates (flyer, poster, etc.)
- Corporate stationery
- Anniversary logo concepts
“The Letter M showed early on that it was the superior choice, demonstrating absolute professionalism and a deep understanding of Library branding and our member base. Every opinion was taken into consideration and the result is a new, bold look that encompasses the purpose, vision and values of Richmond Hill Public library.”
