Rebrand and Communication Strategy for Guelph Wish Fund for Children
Making life a little happier. It’s raw and honest. It’s understanding the challenging circumstances for children who are living with a serious medical concern, and their families. It’s knowing they can’t make it go away, but that they can bring a little joy. It’s the Guelph Wish Fund.
From its first days, the agency’s mission was simple: bring a smile to a child’s face, be it from a fun one-time experience such as meeting a favourite celebrity, or supporting a practical need that would enrich the child’s daily life.
The Letter M was engaged to support a rebrand and public awareness campaign. Despite its 35 years in Guelph, the foundation faced the challenge of being a “best kept secret” as well as confusion amongst similar, larger charities. We realized they were at the cusp of change as an organization, and worked with the Guelph Wish Fund to update their brand to be vibrant, hopeful and memorable; and, develop a focused, impactful communications strategy to bring their message and stories to the community.
